    Open Access Week Event - Promoting Open Access Through Accessible Open Textbooks

    On the eve of International Open Access Week October 19-25, 2020, Koneru Bhaskara Rao & Hemalata Human Development Foundation and Open Access India are jointly organising a live event on "Promoting Open Access Through Accessible Open Textbooks ", in line with the theme of OA Week, 2020 "Open with Purpose: Taking Action to Build Structural Equity and Inclusion". The interactive live event will enable the participants to: gain knowledge about Open Access and creating accessible open textbooks on Pressbooks

    3-Day Hands-on FDP on Conducting Moodle-enabled Online Examinations

    KBR & HL Human Development Foundation, founded by Dr. Indira Koneru has been conducting remote training to Higher Education Teachers since April 2020 to provide needed support to recover from the COVID-19 educational disruption and acquire the eLearning skills required to continue teaching using technologies.

    In collaboration with Maris Stella College, Vijayawada, we are orgnanising a 3-Day Online Professional Development Programme on Conducting Moodle–enabled Online Examinations during 25-27 September, 2020. Assessment

    Learning Outcomes 
    Upon completion of the FDP, participants will be able to:

    • Create assignments and rubrics
    • Build question bank with MCQs, short/ essay questions    
    • Use Moodle quiz for creating and conducting online exams (to enable students to submit hand-written answers)
    • Grade students' assignments and quizzes
    • Design outcomes aligned assessments

    Participation is limited to 30 participants and is on a first come, first served basis.

    Webinar on "Principles of Assessment and Evaluation in Higher Education" by Prof. IAK Reddy, NIT Warangal

    KBR & HL Human Development Foundation wishes to host a series of webinars, with an intent to provide Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunity to the Higher Education Teachers.  

    The first webinar on "Principles of Assessment and Evaluation in Higher Education" by Prof. I. Ajit Kumar Reddy, Retd. Professor of Chemistry and Founding Coordinator of the Teaching Learning Centre, NIT Warangal will be hosted on July 4, 2020 between 4-6 PM. 

    There is no registration fee and no participation certificate will be awarded to the participants.
